Store More Pay Less LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of the indoor/outdoor self-storage facility located at 7029 Van Buren Road.  Previously known as Autumn Acres Self-Storage, the 2002 built facility is near the intersection of Van Buren Road and Jones Road, across from the Fed-Ex compound and not far from Camping World which makes it convenient for anyone along the 690 corridor. The new owner, Michael Wagner was born and raised between Syracuse and Rochester and is excited to serve the residents and businesses in the Greater Baldwinsville Area.  “My primary goal is to meet the storage needs of this community and exceed all of our clients’ expectations in doing so.”  According to the Self-Storage Association, a national not-for-profit organization, the self-storage industry has been one of the fastest-growing sectors in commercial real estate over the last 35 years.  Between 1984 and 2010, the number of storage facilities in this country increased from 6,601 to 45,600.  More recently, fewer new facilities are springy up with many more operators electing to do what Mr. Wagner is doing with Store More Pay Less.  Instead of unnecessarily building new facilities, operators are buying existing facilities, improving their operations and expanding to meet the needs of the community.  This re-development strategy is a great way to avoid overbuilding while still improving communities and adding to their tax base.   Nationwide, self-storage facilities contribute more than $3 billion in property taxes to local government jurisdictions.  Store More Pay Less will do the same for Baldwinsville, albeit on a somewhat smaller scale.  Another benefit of new ownership is that with new owners come new lower prices on a wide variety of storage services.  Store More Pay Less has indoor storage spaces ranging in size from 5’ x 10’ to 10’ by 30’ as well as outdoor storage spots for campers, RV’s, boats and trailers.
