Approval of trash hauler license for White Glove:

Ms. Dickman asked that all trash haulers make sure their loads are tarped to prevent littering.

 

Consider resolution supporting participation in the CNY Regional Planning and Development Board’s Year 4 Stormwater and Education Compliance Assistance Program at a cost not to exceed $5,000.00:

Mr. Sykes said this is a consortium approach to the public education requirements of the stormwater management program and 28 other towns participated last year.  He said the cost will be lower than the $5,000.00 depending on how many towns join this year.

Councilor Committee Reports and Comments:

Ms. Dickman said she and Mr. Tupper are attending the 100^th Anniversary party for the Grange on behalf of the Town of Van Buren.

 

Highway Superintendent Comments: None

 

Supervisor Comments:

Mr. Sykes said the Buildings and Grounds Department employees have installed the water fountain in the Harbour Heights Park and have made a list of the electrical supplies needed for the wiring of the pavilion which will be done by the Homeowners Committee.

 

Mr. Sykes said the Board will meet October 12^th to start the negotiations for the union contract for the International Union of Operating Engineers.

Engineer Comments:

Mr. Hoy said he has met with the contractor and Community Development representatives on the construction of the Maple Road sidewalk and they are ready to start the work.  He said it will be completed this Fall and work should start in the next two weeks.
