Consider liquor license for Hometown Pizza in the Central New York Family Sports Center:
186-11-055 MOTION BY Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Shepard, to approve the following resolution:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirement of the New York State Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Law, an applicant for a license to sell alcoholic beverages at retail, for on-premises consumption, as well as any applicant for renewal of such a license, must notify the Town Clerk of the municipality wherein the premises is located, and
WHEREAS, this notice is given in order that the municipality, if it so desires, may express an opinion for or against the granting of said license or renewal to the ABC Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Board of the Town of Van Buren, that with respect to the application submitted by Hometown Pizza for a license to sell alcoholic beverages at retail for on premises consumption, the Van Buren Town Board does express a favorable opinion.

Consider changing health insurance plans from Pomco Plan B (discontinued by Pomco) to Pomco Plan X Plus with three tier premiums:
Mr. Sykes said when Pomco notified the town they were discontinuing the plan we looked at other Pomco plans and Excellus plans and the two unions chose the same Pomco Plan X.
187-11-038 MOTION BY Mr. Tupper, seconded by Ms. Dickman, to offer employees and retirees Pomco Plan X plus with three tier premiums starting January 1, 2012.

Consider county snow plowing contract:
Mr. Sykes said there are some towns that are choosing not to participate in plowing county roads this year. The town plows over 30 miles of road that we travel over anyway so in our case it makes sense to do it and get the revenue.
188-11-001.1 MOTION BY Ms. Dickman, seconded by Mr. Dudzinski, to approve participation in the County Snow Plowing Agreement in the amount of $6,335.00 per mile with a severity amount (if we get over 150 inches of snow) of $6,967 per mile.

Mr. Shepard said they have started contract negotiations with the International Union of Operating Engineers.
Mr. Shepard said he will have a report for the Board of future maintenance items at the Canton Woods Senior Center.

Mr. Virginia said the new truck should be here next week.
Supervisor Comments:
Mr. Sykes said the Harbour Heights homeowners group will be doing the electrical installation at the pavilion in the park.
Mr. Sykes said the water fountain is installed at the Harbour Heights Park but will not be turned on due to the lateness of the season.
