For 2012 the Chamber is Partnering with McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy to raise funds and awareness for that organization.

McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center not for profit organization dedicated to ending child abuse through intervention and education.

Founded in 1998, the organization offers a safe, child-friendly process for abused children and their families, supported by a committed, professional team specializing in the investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse. In summer 2011, we successfully co-located our partnering agencies under one roof and, therefore, have formed our regions  premier child advocacy center.

The Battle of the Bars is entering its 3rd year of competition. Each establishment can enter only one team that will represent the bar. There are NO extra costs involved to enter the contest, and the team (4 golfers) can be employees, patrons, male, female, anyone you would like to represent your establishment. The team that posts the lowest score will be Crown Champion of the Battle of the Bars and will take home the 2012 Trophy to be displayed proudly in the winning team’s trophy case. Besides the coveted trophy and bragging rights for the 2012 golf season, there will be a special team prize.
